Dust off ‘dem boots. Straighten those Stetsons and starch those jeans. It’s Rodeo Time in Los Fresnos once again!!
The Los Fresnos Rodeo will be kicking off on February 6th and will run until February 8th.
The festivities will begin with the first bull, busting out of the gate on Friday night, along with a Heart of America Carnival for all of the little cowboys and cowgirls. There will be food, dancing and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
Saturday morning ,beginning at 11:30 am, there will be a small parade heading down the streets of Los Fresnos, It will begin at the Los Fresnos City hall and will continue down Arroyo Blvd., ending at the Los Fresnos High School and Memorial Park.
The events will continue with concerts, featuring many local bands, as well as the Josh Abbott Band on Saturday night. Carnivals, rodeo clowns, food and of course bull riding and bronco busting will be on hand as well. You can even catch a live alligator show. How cool is that?
The Rodeo is celebrating its 26th year and should once again prove to be a great attraction for both young and old alike.
