The Taste of La Frontera: A Preview of One of Brownsville’s Premier Events

by Roger DavilaJanuary 19, 2015

Tonight Brownsville will be experiencing The Taste of La Frontera, one of the cities most prestigious events. What is the Taste of La Frontera? It is an event held at the Brownsville Events Center in which local restaurants and pubs come together and allow people to taste some of their cuisines and drinks. If you have never attended the event let me tell you it is one event you shouldn’t miss. I have attended this event in the past and it is amazing. There are hundreds of people meeting together, walking around enjoying some of the best restaurants and pubs that the city has to offer. I, myself, really enjoyed attending this event. I really enjoy sitting together with a bunch of friends eating and drinking and experiencing what the cities top restaurants have to offer.
The Mr. Amigo Association, the same association that sponsors El Charro Days that is scheduled for next month, sponsors the event.
Upon speaking to the President of the Mr. Amigo association, Robert Avitia, he expressed that it is a lot of work, but well worth it.
Mr. Avitia will be there to welcome all who are attending tonight’s event with open arms. Tickets will still be available at the door for the event. Get there early as to my experience; it will be a packed house.
I will be attending the event myself with a group of friends and will write a review on the event. My expectations of the event? I believe that Mr. Avitia and his team will make this night memorable as usual.
Look for my review tomorrow.
